Outside the two-story red-brick home, just yards from the St. Johns River, are lush gardens with three fountains and various water gardens, which are always under development. The gardens have been featured in the Times-Union and are on the Garden Tour. The Southern style porch swing on the pergola is one of Miss Betty's favorite places.
